Dear Naomi and Yehuda

Barb and I truly enjoyed working with you both throughout the process of planning the wedding meal. Naomi you always were there to listen and suggest and showed a great deal of flexibility in creating a lovely menu that was thought out carefully from kabbalat Panim through to the sweets table. Yehuda you were very fair and flexible with all aspects of the billing and it was a pleasure to see you again 16 years later. May you both have nachas from your children and grandchildren!!

As for the meal itself— you truly went all out. We received so many compliments from a crowd that included a number of “foodies” and a non-Jewish professional chef who cooks for Eately who wrote that the meal was the best he has eaten at ANY wedding. The tables were lovely and the serving staff incredibly attentive and polite.

You made a special day fir everyone.

I also wanted to say how much I appreciate bringing back the tomato soup, which I really enjoy. This one though is redder and has a slightly different taste. I much preferred the roasted more yellow tomato grain soup. Both delicious, just the flavour of this is slightly different.

We’re wondering if/when you would be bringing back the Yaptzik and if there are plans for Tandoori to be included on the menu? This was my favourite dish of all from the summer.

The charcuterie board is the best thing you’ve had on the menu – my boys loved it!

We will order it more often if you make It a regular – combined with the cholent/kugel, it was a great lunch on Shabbat!

Just before noon on Friday we pulled up to Shaarei Shomayim to pick up our pre-ordered meals for Friday night.
We ordered four separate Shabbat meals for ourselves and our three married children.
